Meeting--June 17, 2009
Program
Title:
Value of HR in Challenging Times
Speaker: Dr. Kate Immordino
In
challenging budget times, how do you make sure that HR is not
only seen as valuable, but is proactively contributing to
keeping your agency afloat? It starts with making sure that HR
has a seat at the table for those discussions, which only
happens if you have something to contribute: the ability to
make recommendations to leadership on prioritizing functions,
the ability to integrate assessment, workforce planning and
strategic planning, and the ability to continuing to move
forward with the types of programs and services that benefit
your employees.
Dr.
Immordino is the Director of Organizational Research and
Assessment at the
University
Center
